Paul C. Meidus, Esq.

Redding Personal Injury Attorney

Professional Biography

Attorney Paul C. Meidus is an experienced and aggressive trial attorney who gets results for his clients. Paul has proudly served Redding and its surrounding Northern California communities for more than 20 years, in addition to representing clients throughout the State. Paul has emphasized Personal Injury work his entire professional career and has recovered millions of dollars for his clients through his diligent and aggressive representation. He will represent you knowledgeably and attentively and get you the results you are entitled to under California law.

Paul began his career at Halkides, Morgan and Kelly, one of Redding’s then oldest established firms. He learned the tricks and tactics employed by insurance companies and adjusters to dodge, deny, and deflect responsibility for their insured’s injury-causing accidents and conditions. Having developed a reputation as an aggressive, results-oriented litigator and trial lawyer, Paul was actively recruited in 2014 by another of Redding’s oldest established law firms, Reese, Smalley, Wiseman & Schweitzer, LLP.

He quickly became a firm owner/partner and, while expanding his practice area into the areas of Trust, Real Estate and General Business Litigation, continued to help those injured by the negligence of others to obtain the financial and related resources necessary to regain their personal and professional stride.

Paul’s broad, comprehensive experience in the short list of areas he chooses to practice includes litigating and trying Personal Injury, Real Estate, Contract, Trust, and Employment Discrimination cases. Paul has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants in these areas his entire career and benefits from the ability to analyze and address the relevant legal issues from 360 degrees. Paul utilizes tools such as mediation, arbitration, trial, focus groups, experts, consultants, and ongoing legal education, to ensure you have every advantage necessary to obtain justice, whether by negotiated settlement or trial verdict.

At the beginning of 2024, Paul separated from RSWS and combined forces with his longtime friend, colleague, and former co-worker, Michael Landsem and the Landsem Law Office. Paul’s goal has always been to provide compassionate, attentive, and aggressive representation to injured folks, to those whose family members have been injured, and to those who have lost a loved one due to another’s negligence. Insurance companies will pretend to care about injured claimants just long enough to obtain information to use against them to reduce their insured’s liability and their own financial payouts. Paul levels the playing field and ensures those responsible for your losses and other wrongdoing are held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
